 Grant Writing 

The Office of Research and Office of Academic Affairs and Provost present the 28th Annual Tulane Health Sciences Research Days, Monday February 20 -Tuesday February 21. This event will showcase the diversity of health science-related research at Tulane, and will feature presentations by students, faculty and staff university-wide, in addition to a number of associated lectures. Poster presentations will be displayed for review in the J. Bennett Johnston Building at 1324 Tulane Avenue on the downtown campus, and a series of prizes will be awarded by Deans and Center Directors.

This upcoming February, the TEDxTU will be hosting its fifth annual TEDx speaking event. Styled similarly to the popular “TED Talks,” this event will be bringing together students, professors, and outside professionals to give powerful talks on variety of topics related to this year's theme: TEDxTU: Next Steps. This year's TEDxTU event wants to challenge students to think critically about their role in understanding, perpetuating, and addressing the pressing issues of today, including issues of climate change, incarceration, sexual assault, immigration, and urban blight, among others.

Ashley Wennerstrom, PhD, MPH, Assistant Professor of Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine and Director of the Louisiana Community Health Worker Training Institute
