On August 19-20, the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine hosted Fall New Student Orientation 2009. The Welcome Project video was a grass-roots student led iniatiative directed and produced by graduate public health students Ronald Ikechi and Tony Li, in collaboration with the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine’s Office of Admissions. The universal greetings of “Welcome” from faculty, students and staff which are depicted in The Welcome Project are representative of the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine’s global commitment to service, teaching and research.
