All workshops this semester will take place in TDW 1208 Noon-1:00pm Please RSVP for the workshops you would like to attend as we will be providing lunch and need a head count. The Tulane University SPHTM Maternal and Child Public Health Leadership Training program prepares students to be leaders in the MCH field.
The MCPHLT Scholarship program offers the opportunity for dedicated students to work with MCPHLT faculty and staff to tailor a plan that is individualized to suit their particular goals and needs. Scholarship opportunities are mentored student-driven programs and offered to students in a variety of format: the semester scholar, the summer scholar, and the doctoral scholar. The MCPHLT Scholarship program also offers travel stipends to students for attendance at the annual American Public Health Association (APHA) Conference.
. | This fall we are offering an exciting opportunity to participate in the MCPHLT Scholar program. Entry into the program includes individualized leadership training assignments, mentoring opportunities, team-building activities, and a stipend. Both new and returning students are eligible. Applications are due by 5pm on Friday, September 5th, 2008 Students will submit: - an updated CV or resume
- a cover letter detailing interests in the field of maternal and child health and commitment to the Scholar program

Note: Students must be in the MCH concentration, housed in the CHS department, and in good academic standing to be considered for the program. Additionally, students must be US citizens to receive funding through this opportunity. |
